Our Story
Shamrock Storehouse™ was founded in 2019 by William and Laura Donnellan, who are originally from Co. Galway, Ireland. The first location, formerly known as The Shamrock Bar & Grill, has been a staple in the community for years and is beloved by everyone that steps inside. From hearty Irish food, perfectly poured Guinness and the best Sunday Session in Vancouver, we wanted to capture what makes the Shamrock so special and bring it to more communities all over the world for people to enjoy.
About the Founders
On April 24th in 2009, in pursuit of a new adventure, William and Laura Donnellan travelled from their hometown of Galway to Vancouver on a one-year work visa. With no contacts whatsoever, they knew that this was going to be a big challenge for them. Today, over a decade later, they have established themselves as successful entrepreneurs with multiple companies within the thriving IRL Group.
Community is at the forefront of everything they do, from sponsoring sports teams, donating to charities and creating inviting pubs that feel like a home away from home.
